From a young age, Sam has approached every challenge with drive, discipline, and teamwork, these qualities were first developed on the playing field. A lifelong athlete, she played competitive sports growing up and went on to play collegiate softball, where she learned the value of preparation, leadership, and persistence, traits that continue to shape her approach to the practice of law.

Sam earned her undergraduate degree with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice, combining her interest in human behavior with her passion for fairness and advocacy. While attending college, she worked at the Office of the Public Defender in Newark, New Jersey, where she developed a firsthand understanding of the justice system and the importance of strong, client-centered representation. That experience inspired her to pursue a career in law.

During law school, Sam quickly immersed herself in litigation and advocacy. She was an active member of the Society for Dispute Resolution, competing in mediation, arbitration, and negotiation competitions, and later joined the Mock Trial Team, where she excelled in medical malpractice, personal injury, and criminal trial competitions. Her leadership and advocacy skills earned her the role of President of the Mock Trial Organization.

Throughout her academic career, Sam was recognized for her excellence in advocacy and leadership, receiving multiple honors including:

• Distinguished Academic Achievement in Advanced Mock Trial
• Oberst Mock Trial Award
• Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy and Service to the Law School

Today, Sam brings the same competitive spirit, empathy, and commitment to excellence to every case she handles. Whether advocating for clients in negotiation or litigation, she is dedicated to achieving the best possible results through preparation, strategic thinking, and unwavering advocacy.
