David Hartshorn has been successfully handling personal injury cases for over thirty years. He graduated cum laude from Middlebury College, where he was named a Charles A. Dana Scholar and played varsity soccer and basketball. He received his juris doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and he was admitted to the State of Connecticut Superior Court in 1986 and Federal Court in 1987. David has tried numerous personal injury cases to verdict in state court and at arbitrations, and several of his outstanding jury verdicts have been published in the Connecticut Law Tribune’s Top Verdicts, as well as in the New England Verdict Reporter. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

Outside the legal field, David is a published author. His first novel, More Than Halfway There, was well-received by both critics and readers alike, and his second novel is due to be published in 2022. He has also studied guitar for many years. David lives in Burlington, and in his free time he enjoys golfing and biking.
