Claudia joined BJM Law as a workers' compensation paralegal back in 2012. She is bilingual in English and Italian. She felt strongly about helping the Italian community and hoped that this ability would enable a strong close knit relationship between her and her clients. It definitely worked. Because she possessed other various experiences which helped her to be an exceptional paralegal, she recently accepted a position as Medical Records Coordinator.
Prior to beginning her career at in the legal field, Claudia worked at an insurance company dealing with claims on the opposite end of the spectrum. This gives her the ability to understand how and why the insurance companies work the way they do. Claudia also worked in a busy pediatric office for several years. At BJM law we all know she has a passion for children as her kind heart shows it. She takes pride in volunteering for charities, especially involving breast cancer or children, as her nephew is a child with special needs, and she sees firsthand the struggles he faces.
Claudia is a lifelong resident of Waterbury, CT. After graduating from Sacred Heart High School, she decided to pursue one of her dreams of becoming a pastry chef. She graduated the Connecticut Culinary Institute in Farmington as a certified pastry chef in 2000.
In her spare time, Claudia loves to travel. Italy is one of her favorite places to go as it is where much of her family still resides. Traveling to North Carolina to see her nephew and niece always puts a smile on her face, and she prefers to vacation where ever a beach is near. Claudia also enjoys a good book and shopping, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
