Amparo Oliva joined BJM Law as a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal. She has extensive experience in the legal field with a background in Personal Injury, Social Security, Personal Injury Litigation and Workers’ Compensation. In addition to her legal field experience, Amparo has gained valuable insight as an administrative assistant for the elite Berkeley Preparatory High School in Tampa, FL and also possesses a strong background in hospitality. These experiences truly made her realize her passion for helping people.
Amparo is bilingual in English and Spanish and goes the extra mile for her clients and her profession. She recently moved from Tampa, Florida to Connecticut, and is in love with all that New England has to offer. Amparo has recently become a proud Grandmother. She has two daughters, one of which is a Chicago resident and routing for the Bears and the other is just beginning college, aspiring to build a career in the Science field. Amparo was instilled with great moral and ethical values at a young age and she reflects those values in her present day with her children. She is a former ballet dancer and still loves to dance. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, taking in the beautiful sights and cheering on the Red Sox!
