BJM LAW specializes in personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, motorcycle accidents, products liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Regardless of the severity of the injuries sustained, all matters are handled with the same care and dedication. Our office handles claims ranging from strains/sprains to, unfortunately the death of our clients, and will give you the personal attention and care so that we can obtain the maximum compensation for you, all the while building our relationship with you along the way.
Each client will be contacted every three weeks to ensure their involvement and understanding of the claim process, and are encouraged to call with any questions or concerns that may arise.
Individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents have the daunting task of getting their vehicle repaired. We will work diligently to resolve property damage issues at the onset of the claim, ensuring the client is provided with a rental vehicle during the repair process so that they may continue with the daily activities with as little interruption as possible. Should the vehicle be deemed a total loss, this office will coordinate with the client and insurance carrier for the timely transfer of documents so payments to lien holders and the client is achieved without delay.
Whether you have been injured as a result of a slip and fall, motor vehicle accident, dog bite, or defective product, you will need medical treatment. During the treatment process, we will work closely with the medical providers to ensure treatment may proceed without interruption. This includes coordinating payment of medical expenses, whether through the medical payments provision of the client’s motor vehicle insurance policy, or through personal health insurance. If medical expenses are paid through a client’s health insurance provider, we will coordinate with the insurance company to determine if they have a right to reimbursement for medical expenses paid on behalf of the client.
Many clients are unable to perform their job duties as a result of the injuries sustained. Our office will communicate directly with the employer to obtain confirmation of lost wages so that they loss may be recovered in settlement.
We will continually update the insurance company so that they are properly informed of the severity of the client’s injuries, and any and all expenses incurred as a result of the injuries sustained by the negligence of their insured, so that they may properly set their reserves. This is something Attorney Mongelluzzo learned was invaluable when he worked on behalf of insurance companies for over five years and now knows how the other side works.
