Gregory M. Mulligan, B.A., LL.B.
Mr.
Mulligan carries on a general practice with emphasis on real estate, wills,
and estates and commercial matters. A graduate of O.D.C.V.I., the University
of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School, Mr. Mulligan has practiced law
in Orillia since his call to Bar of Ontario in 1975.
Mr. Mulligan has taught at the Law Society of Upper Canada Bar Administration
Course on real estate law and other topics. He is a regular contributor to
continuing legal education publications for Ontario lawyers, and lectures on
real estate and related topics. He has particular expertise in the area of
cottage and waterfront property law.
Mr. Mulligan is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and in 1999 was elected to a four-year term as a Bencher, a member of the governing body of the Law Society. He is a member and past-president of the Simcoe County Law Association and is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Orillia Law Association, and is past Chair and Law Society representative of LibraryCo., the Library System of Ontario Law Associations.
In 2004, Mr. Mulligan was granted the certified specialist designation in real estate law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. The Law Society's Specialist Certification Program assists members of the public and the profession to identify lawyers who have met established standards of experience and knowledge in certain fields of law and who have maintained a high standard of professional practice.
Mr. Mulligan is extensively involved in the local community and has served terms as a director of the Kiwanis Club of Orillia, the Orillia and District Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of the Stephen Leacock Memorial Home.
